LoveOne Milwaukie April 2022 Event
144 pizza slices served tonight at the LoveOne Milwaukie!
At a typical laundry event — like tonight — our neighbors can wash and dry up to three loads of their laundry free of charge and enjoy a hot meal. Additionally, LoveOne works to keep a resource table stocked with a range of essential personal care items, snacks, and other resources. Our club is proud to support the work LoveOne is doing on a daily basis in our community.


April "Feed The Hungry" Local Community Service Project
The Rotary Club of Milwaukie would like to thank all our club members & friends who came out to support the "Feed the Hungry" program here in downtown Milwaukie. "Feed the Hungry" serves a warm meal EVERY Sunday to anyone in the area who needs a meal. Together with volunteers who cook & serve, "Feed the Hungry" serves nearly 100 meals every week!

Milwaukie Floral "Spring Bouquet" Club Social

March "Adopt-A-Road" Clean Up
We had a terrific turn out and amazing weather at our Adopt-a-Road/Lake Rd clean up this morning! Students from Milwaukie High School, Rowe Middle School & community volunteers, joined Milwaukie Rotarians to collect trash along SE Lake Rd, from Milwaukie High School- to - Harmony Rd.

The Rotary Club of Milwaukie is excited to announce that the 2022 Milwaukie Rotary Foundation - Dr. Howard Anderson / Tim DeShields $5,000 Scholarship application is now available! This annual scholarship is available to one graduating Senior attending Milwaukie High School or Milwaukie Academy of the Arts that meets the application criteria.

Happy 10th Anniversary to LoveOne!
Thanks to our rotary volunteers who came out to help support LoveOne Milwaukie's January Milwaukie South event. This marks the 10 year Anniversary of LoveOne Milwaukie! This tremendous organization consistently serves so many in need here in our community by providing a warm meal, personal hygiene & other supplies, medical resources, laundry services and so much more. The Rotary Club of Milwaukie, Oregon is pleased to introduce our newest member, Colleen Rockwell as a member of our club! Colleen was introduced by Club Membership Chair Bruce Weaver and will be mentored by fellow member, Betty Dominguez. She is a long-time Milwaukie resident, with deep ties to our community and has already participated in numerous local community service projects & other club events. Colleen is a terrific addition to our club and we're excited to have her a member.

Feed The Hungry January 2022
The Rotary Club of Milwaukie was excited to help support the "Feed The Hungry" Volunteer Event today; cooking for and serving over 100 people in need of a warm meal here in our community. "Feed the Hungry" provides a warm meal to those in need every Sunday. Hillside Community Holiday Party
The Rotary Club of Milwaukie was so excited to partner with the Providence Milwaukie Foundation again and share some holiday cheer with the residents of the Hillside Manor Community. The Hillside Manor Community is comprised of 200 units of public housing that include families, senior citizens, and people with disabilities. The Hillside Community is located on 16 acres on SE 32nd Avenue in Milwaukie (across from Providence Milwaukie Hospital), which is owned and operated by the Housing Authority of Clackamas County. Tonight, residents were treated to gift cards, toys & gifts, Christmas carolers and a door-to-door visit from Santa Claus!

Paul Harris Fellow Awards
Congratulations to Milwaukie Rotarian's Joel Bergman & David Mealey. David was awarded his Paul Harris Fellow +5 & Joel earned his Paul Harris Fellow +1 at our regular lunch meeting today. The Paul Harris Fellow recognition acknowledges individuals who contribute $1,000 to The Rotary Foundation. Annual Holiday "Bowling" Party!
Thanks to all the club members & guests who came out to our Annual Holiday "Bowling Party"; especially our Social Committee Chair Susan Di Piazza & Club President Paul M. Geske for all of their efforts to make sure today's event was so enjoyable. Also, a special thanks to fellow Milwaukie Rotarian, Champ Husted & all of the terrific staff at Milwaukie Bowl for hosting our club again this year! Lot's of fun and laughs were had by all.

"Friends of Trees"/Arbor Day Milwaukie Neighbor Tree Planting
Thanks to everyone who braved the rain, hail and wind during the "Friends of Trees"/Milwaukie Neighborhood Arbor Day Tree Planting Event! Our Milwaukie Rotary group planted 11 new trees in 4 different locations with in the city of Milwaukie today.
