Steve WilliamsDistrict Governor 2022-23RC HermistonSteve originally joined the Hermiston Rotary Club in 1999. After moving to Baker City, he joined the Baker City Rotary club in 2002; serving as Club President during the 2005-06 year. In 2006, Steve rejoined the Hermiston Rotary Club and has been active in the Youth Exchange, Membership, and The Rotary Foundation Committees. Steve served as President of the Hermiston Club in 2013-14. At the District level Steve served as Assistant Governor for the Eastern Region from 2010 –13; served as Administrative Assistant Governor in 2015-16; and served as District Trainer 2016-19. Steve is married to Janet Williams and they have two sons: Sean and Jason. Sean lives in Hermiston and Jason lives in Portland with his family: wife Michelle, children Cooper and Clara. Steve and Janet have hosted six inbound exchange students from five countries: The Philippines, Argentina, Taiwan, Japan, and France. Steve and Janet are District 5100 Triple Crown donors supporting The Rotary Foundation as Major Donors, as members of the Paul Harris Society, and as members of the Bequest Society. Steve is a proud graduate of the Oregon State University School of Business and works as a Project Manager for a large farming operation in the lower Columbia Basin. He provides administrative leadership in Human Resources, Safety, and Asset Management, along with many other areas. |

The Fair will feature activities and events to ensure patrons will visit and stay. Not only will James Recycling be holding a recycling event, but we will also feature food and beverage vendors, local sustainable products, kid-friendly activities, guest speakers, and an educational booth! We expect over 500 visitors! Just look at all the sustainable experiences for you and your family to enjoy!
We are proud to feature our local recycling resources for plastic and styrofoam, James Recycling and Exceed Enterprises. Growing Gardens and Master Gardeners will help you discover ways you can grow your own food with their help and guidance. Bob’s Red Mill will have a table with goodies and information to share. Waste Free Advocates, Milwaukie Parks Foundation, Milwaukie Environmental Stewards Group and Gleaners will share information about environmental goals, projects being done, and those already
The Environmental Learning Center will have activities for kids that will teach them more about the world they live in.
There will be reuse art to buy from Cracked Pots’ Artists: Mary Mosier, Sara Badiah, Ahshanti Jones,
Elle Cree will be there to sell paint by number kits as well as encourage you to participate in a Milwaukie’s Art Mob will invite you to join them in an art activity supported by the Scrap Store who
Repair Fair will repair your broken appliances.
A Clothing Swap will let you swap your old clothing for new ones.
Milwaukie Schools are preparing an activity for your family to enjoy.
Sasquatch will greet you while the Making Earth Cool Group will invite you to interact with them to
Urban Village Designs will be there to help you envision a new livable space in your life.
Rohst Coffee will be there with Okapi reusable cups. Naphtali is providing food and drinks.

The Rotary Club of Milwaukie & Milwaukie Rotary Club Foundation is selling Holiday Wreaths & Hanging Baskets to raise funds supporting our Local Community Service Projects; including LoveOne Milwaukie, Feed the Hungry, NCSD-"Oregon Battle of the Books", Hillside Family Holiday Event & more! Your help is needed to work our club's booth at the Special Thanksgiving Sunday Farmer's Market on Sunday, November 20th, from 9:00 AM - 1:30 PM. Volunteers will hand out pre-paid/purchased wreaths & hanging baskets, as well as sell to the general public that is shopping at the Special Thanksgiving Sunday Farmers Market! There are 2 shifts available, so pick one or both and help our club & spread some holiday cheer! |

The Rotary Club of Milwaukie is excited to participate in the Clackamas County Peace Officers Benevolent Foundation's annual "Shop With A Cop" event again. CCPOBF will be helping 200 children from Clackamas County this year. They will be paired with a law enforcement officer to shop. Participants in SWAC have had enforcement contact with police or require assistance for a variety of reasons. Sometimes this may involve an adult family member or older sibling who may have been arrested. Volunteers are needed to work in the "wrapping room" and will wrap the gifts that each child selects! This is a fun, family-friendly opportunity to make a great impact in our community & spread some holiday cheer! |
